As you might have noticed, ProBox does not offer an unloaded sealed 2-10" or sealed 2-12" downfire — and for good reason. During the developmental stages, we built multiple configurations, and each one of them sounded horrible. We decided not to put an inferior product on the market. This formula simply did not meet our expectations or standards of sound quality. Some of you may have 2-10" or 2-12”, and are not very happy with the quality of the sound. Stop wasting your money — we have been there, done that.

The new body Chevy Extended Cab presents a bit of a challenge due to the constant floor pan elevation change. While testing the 2-10" and 2-12" sealed downfire enclosures, we had a hard time keeping the drivers side sub from making contact with the floor, while still trying to maintain good airspace and decent mounting depth. It just wasn’t working out, so we decided to layer the enclosure to fit all the floor pan elevation changes on both the left and right sides of the truck. The unique form, with all the exact multiple layering, was designed to give the most air space available with our ProBox PRO-10 subwoofer, creating the end result that everyone is looking for. It far exceeds a generic downfire box with (2) generic/universal run of the mill subwoofers. By following the contour of the floor, we were able to get extra airspace that all other enclosures lack.

Notice in the "exploded" photos, you can see how we curved the ports to fit around the ProBox PRO-10 magnets. This way, you don’t have to put a cheesy thin mount sub in your truck. The big 2.5" PRO-10 motor coil fits like a glove. The ports and PRO-10 are perfectly positioned to achieve maximum acoustical horsepower. You will also not have the muffled sound of a sealed downfire enclosure. The specific design of our High Density Fiberboard enclosure, with its engineered exact air space cavity and the ProBox Pro-10" subwoofer, produces the most acoustical horsepower available.

Don’t waste your time and money on anything else. This is by far the best design on the market. It’s truly a work of art! I would have to say, if you have a 2-10" or 2-12" enclosure for this application, and you think it sounds good… well, you would not think it sounded all that great after you heard our CX7110L-750. NOTHING ROCKS LIKE A PROBOX. Try it; you will be glad you did.

Warranty Information

One year warranty protects against manufacturer’s defects only. Improper installation may cause clipping and over-powering, which leads to burnt voice coils. Burnt coils are NOT covered under warranty. Please refer to our Technical Bulletin for proper installation. Original receipt from date of purchase required for warranty work.
